According to the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce, professions that depend heavily on skills learned in science are the second-fastest growing occupational group in the United States, after health care. And 63 percent of professionals with a two-year degree in science earn more than those with bachelor’s degrees in any other subject.
Smart students know they can earn college credit by exam and make their degrees even more valuable. Don’t count out philosophy or literature – we still the writers and the communicators! – but consider majoring in science and technology and begin the credit-by-exam way.
